About Us
To us, books are more than just words on a page. A book is just like people, with a diverse selection of types, subjects, attitudes and opinions. We’ve been reading since we could remember, entertained as children, informed as young adults, and inspired even today. We love books, and always have. Despite having every form of electronic entertainment available today, we still read books avidly, as a comfort, a form of relaxation, and a way to learn more about the world around us.
Bigfoot Robot Books was formed out of that passion for the printed word. Like anybody, we all have stories to tell, and just as passionately, we want to read stories from others. That’s why we created this publishing house, to share the words that inspire us, that entertain us, and that make us smile, cringe or ponder.
Sharing the thoughts and creativity of people is at the heart of our mission statement, so beyond books we will offer other forms of entertainment, including an active Blog by authors, a selection of podcasts and other interesting and thought provoking content.
Our books will never fall into a single genre. We are open to a wide range of authors, subjects, genres and opinions. We can’t publish everything that is submitted, but we will always try to maintain diversity throughout our titles.

To us, books aren’t just products; they’re companions, teachers, and safe places. We’ve been reading since we were kids, entertained as children, informed as young adults, and inspired even now.
We started Bigfoot Robot Books because we wanted to share the stories that make us smile, cringe, think, and feel, and to give other writers a way to do the same without getting lost in the noise.
We’re also huge fans of small businesses and solo creators. We know what it’s like to build something from scratch, to balance a day job with a passion project, and to stare at Amazon’s dashboard wondering how to get anyone to notice your book.
That’s where we come in.
What We’re Building: A Friendly Co-Op for Self-Published Authors
If you’re a self-published or soon-to-be self-published author, your options usually look like this:
- Put your book on Amazon and hope the algorithm notices you (and maybe pay for ads).
- Hustle your own social media and website, one reader at a time.
- Or… join a small, curated co-op style store where:
- You earn more per sale than a typical Amazon-only path,
- Your book lives in a more personal, human space, and
- When one author promotes their book, it brings eyes to everyone’s books on the site.
Bigfoot Robot Books is that third option.
Think of us as a tiny, online indie bookstore + small press for self-publishers—where we all push readers to the same place, and everyone benefits from each other’s momentum.
We focus especially on authors who are just getting started: first books, small catalogs, side-hustle projects, and passion pieces that deserve more than a lonely product page.
